The official Community Day for the month of February has been announced for Pokémon GO and will focus on the Flying/Grass-type Pokémon Hoppip. This will not be the only in-game event to happen during the month as the Pokémon GO Tour: Johto event will take place at the end of February.
Community Days did not become part of Niantic's augmented reality title until about a year and a half after the game's initial launch. These bonuses are only available for this limited time, and players can also gain other bonuses like increased XP.
