Pokemon GO is over six years old at this point, and one of the reasons why Niantic has been able to keep fans engaged with the augmented reality mobile game for the long-term is by the constant stream of new content that's added to the title. Pokemon GO is regularly hosting special events and adding new Pokemon for dedicated trainers to catch, with the next event set to add three new Pokemon to the game.
Pokemon GO will be hosting the Hisuian Discoveries event from July 27 at 10:00am local time to August 2 at 8:00pm local time. The Hisuian Discoveries event inPokemon GO will see the Hisuian region variants of Growlithe, Qwilfish, and Sneasel all make their debuts in the game. For those who may be unfamiliar with the Pokemon, they just made their franchise debuts earlier this year with Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

The Hisuian forms of Growlithe, Qwilfish, and Sneasel aren't the first Hisuian Pokemon to appear in Pokemon GO. As a matter of fact, Hisuian Voltorb and Hisuian Electrode were both added to Pokemon GO earlier this year. For those that missed out on Hisuian Voltorb, the good news is that it will also be appearing in the wild as part of the Hisuian Discoveries event.
Besides catching the Hisuian Pokemon in the wild, Pokemon GO players will also have the chance to hatch them from eggs. While the Hisuian Discoveries event is live, Pokemon GO 7km eggs will feature Hisuian Growlithe, Hisuian Voltorb, Hisuian Qwilfish, and Hisuian Sneasel, which should go a long way in helping players complete their collection of Hisuian Pokemon — especially since the evolved forms of these Pokemon will likely be introduced as part of the event as well, though that wasn't specified in
