Many players have gone through a lot of trouble to try and hatch strong or shiny Pokemon over the years.

Redditor elanchan shared a short video showcasing the threePokemon Scarlet and Violet starter Pokemon hatching from adorable eggs. Although most Pokemon eggs simply look like large chicken eggs with various colored patterns on them, this artist has chosen to represent the eggs as resembling the Pokemon inside. The result makes it look almost like the Pokemon are curled up into little balls to disguise themselves as eggs.
In the video, three eggs--or three Pokemon disguised as eggs--are shown lined up in a row. The first one is green with what seem to be cat ears and tufts of fur. The second one is red and white with Fuecoco's crest and square-shaped markings. And the third one is white, featuring Quaxly's mop of blue hair a single blue spot. The three eggs soon hop into the air and transform into the Pokemon Gen 9 starters, beginning with Fuecoco and ending with Quaxly, and begin to wave or wag their tails at the viewer.
