First making an appearance inPokemon Red and Blue, Charmander is a Gen 1 Pokemon and one of the older species in the series. It is categorized as Fire-type starter Pokemon that can eventually evolve into a Charmeleon at level 16. Charmander is one of the better-known Pokemon due to its iconic look, which includes a reddish-orange coloration with a yellow underbelly. In addition, it features a signature flame at the tip of its tail. Recently, one player decided to make a drawing based on this Pokemon.
In a post on Reddit, a user known as Josilix shared a picture of a piece of artwork they made based on the Pokemon series. Using colored pencils, they decided to draw a replica of a “near mint” Charmander card they had. The results of this project were nothing short of stunning. In the picture, the Reddit user held the actual card next to the drawing of the card on a piece of paper. Not only had the artist managed to recreate the image of Charmander in exquisite detail, but they even added the weathering that made the real-life card appear in “near mint” condition.

In addition, they noted that hot-pressed watercolor paper was used to draw on. Interestingly, this is just one of several realistic pieces of artwork made by the artist. They had previously posted other drawings on Reddit for those wanting to see more. For example, they posted pictures of a Fury Bowser from Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, and even 3D-looking candy.
Unsurprisingly, numerous members of the Pokemon community took notice of this
