Pokémon Crystal cheats: Full list of codes & how to cheat the game
If you want to make your journey through Johto a little easier, then you can use Pokémon Crystal cheats — and we've got the full list of codes with how to cheat in the game explained so that you may!
The last of the Pokémon entries on the Game Boy Colour, Pokémon Crystal updated the second generation of Pokémon.
For the first time, you were able to choose your Trainer's gender, and the artwork saw a massive bump in fidelity.

As it is so old now, we don't think anyone will mind if you use a little cheat or two.
Just be aware that it requires a Game Shark or another similar programme in order to use cheats on the original hardware. Using cheats while emulating the game is far easier.
But with that said, let's make those cheats crystal clear for you.
Once you've set up the Game Shark, all you'll need to do is punch in the code and you're good to go!
We should add that while these should be nice and clean cheats (unlike the MissingNo glitch), there is a chance these codes will crash your game. We recommend saving your game before cheating, and only using these codes to mess about, investigate and experiment.
So now you're ready! Bear in mind that a cheat might not work first time, but keep trying. And if the cheat is to spawn a Pokémon, you'll still need to go into the wild to catch it! Alright, we'll share the codes below.
