News of the Backbone One was released on the PlayStation blog July 28th with plenty of enticing details about the upcoming officially-licensed controller by PlayStation, including the fact that its availability for purchase will be extremely widespread, including the US, Canada, Mexico, the UK, and all across Europe to name a few locations. Further details regarding the Backbone One include the fact that it will not require a charger, as it’s powered by the user’s phone, and that the design draws inspiration from the PS5, which means that it fits the aesthetic that some gamers enjoy having across their playable resources.
