With PlayStation Plus Premium on the way for many users, it may seem that PlayStation Now will soon become a thing of the past. The game subscription service offered by Sony will be upgraded to PlayStation Plus Premium next month. Until then, however, PlayStation Now will still allow gamers to stream some of their favorite titles through its service, and has received some new additions for May 2022.
On PlayStation's Blog, the company posts that players can win the day with «fists, weapons, or sheer cunning» with this month's lineup of PlayStation Now games. The games are as follows: Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, SoulCalibur 6, and Blasphemous. The first in this short list of new PlayStation Now games, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, is the last in the critically acclaimed and popular Ultimate Ninja Storm series focused around the Naruto universe. It is an anime fighting game developed by CyberConnect2. According to Metacritic, Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is the best in the series and the best game CyberConnect2 has put out.

Moving on, Soulcalibur 6 is the latest in the well-known series of fighting games. Like Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, Soulcalibur 6 is also published by Bandai Namco. Alongside featuring a cast of memorable characters, including some guest fighters like Geralt of Rivia from The Witcher universe, the latest Soulcalibur has a character creator that has seen fans make some ridiculous and impressive new additions to the game's roster.
