E3 2022 is canceled, but it doesn't mean the gaming industry isn't going to have all kinds of reveals and special events this summer. Geoff Keighley confirmed today that Summer Game Fest 2022 will take place on Thursday, June 9 at 11am PT, and it will be screened in select IMAX theaters for «full-scale immersion.» Not only that, but it was also confirmed that The Game Awards 2022 will air in IMAX this December as well. Gamers will still be able to watch both events from the comfort of their homes, but those who want a more impressive presentation can watch them in IMAX.
