One of the highlights of Phineas and Ferb is the Flynn-Fletcher family pet, Perry, but why is he a platypus? The show definitely falls on the quirkier side, with its oddball humor being both a hit with kids and older audiences. Phineas and Ferb follows the titular brothers on summer vacation from school as they do something wacky every day to make the most of it — to the chagrin of their sister, Candace, who can never catch the boys in the act and tell their mom on them.
