Elden Ring continues to top the gaming charts. As players get further in and discover more weapons and armour sets, new PvP strategies are emerging. Turns out, inflicting scarlet rot on people is pretty OP. What's even more OP, however, is just how much FromSoftware's latest offering hates all of our guts. Yes, especially yours.
As with all the Soulsborne series, players can fight each other in PvP duels through an invasion system. A hostile player will warp into your world and try and kill you for your precious runes. It can happen in a lot of areas, even ones with deadly creatures.

We often think of FromSoftware games as unfair, but the truth is, they hate us all equally, as proved by this clip. Someone who thinks they're well hard invades another player, and things don't go to plan.
Grab attacks are the absolute worst as they're impossible to block and difficult to dodge. Fortunately, the host of the world got out of the way just in time for this Pendulum Statue to nab the invader and grind them up into a fine meat paste.
Enemy mobs are almost always a pain in the arse when you're fighting a boss or another player, but this time the Pendulum Statue came just at the right moment. It looked like the poster wasn't fairing too well against their adversary, so this intervention was very appreciated.
A moment this beautiful doesn't happen often, but when it does, you can't help but praise the Elden Ring. FromSoftware games are full of funny moments like this. When they happen to you, you've got to laugh it off, otherwise, you might put your controller through a wall.
