Rick did his due diligence and had an expert look over the document, which had holes from when it was nailed to a wall in 1776. This Declaration of Independence was confirmed to be the real deal and was in extremely good condition. After hearing the copy could fetch up to $2 million at auction, Harrison and the seller did the customary haggle, and a deal was made for $1.45 million.
