Warning! Spoilers for Overwatch: New Blood #1 by Dark Horse Comics
The Overwatch digital series New Blood from Dark Horse Comics is coming to comic book shops, as Cole Cassidy's return to the team gets a closer look, as the hero reunites with an old friend. Previously just released as a digital comic, the title will soon come to comic book stores for the first time ever. Overwatch: New Blood #1 is a five-issue series following Cassidy as he's offered a spot on the Overwatch team but struggles with dealing with his haunted past.
Overwatch is a popular multiplayer first-person shooter developed by Blizzard Entertainment, which stars a diverse cast of heroes and villains. The game features several map-based objectives, as players select different class types, damage, attack, and support, in usual six-on-six matchups. The Overwatch game has been supported with some incredible lore, including digital shorts starring heroes, comic books, mini-stories, and in-game events. Now, ahead of the release of Overwatch 2, the damage hero Cole Cassidy's adventures are getting a physical release in comic book stores.

Screen Rant can exclusively reveal that Overwatch: New Blood by Ray Fawkes (Black Hammer ’45, Batman Eternal), Irene Koh (The Legend of Korra: Turf Wars, Hungry Ghosts), and Deron Bennett (Overwatch: Tracer – London Calling) will be getting a brand new physical release from Dark Horse Comics. The print editions will feature a series of variant covers from artists Dustin Nguyen, Paulina Ganucheau, Taurin Clarke, Tyler Crook, and Leslie Hung.
