An Overwatch 2 player lived the dream of D.Va players with a well-placed and well-timed ultimate. D.Va's self-destructing mech is often used for zone control by forcing the enemy team to abandon their position or get blown up in one hit. In the case of this amusing Play of the Game, the entire enemy team simply ignored their impending doom. Defeating an entire team with a single ability, a feat recently performed by a Lucio player is always satisfying.
D.Va's unique play style has stood the test of time from the original roster of Overwatch to today's Overwatch 2. While piloting her mech D.Va provides offensive and defensive support to her team, it is her ultimate ability that warps entire matches. Hopping out of her mech triggers a 3-second countdown, telegraphed with clear audio and visual cues. At the end of the countdown, D.Va's mech explodes over a wide area dealing damage to all enemies within the blast radius, from 1000 damage down to 100 based on proximity. Another recent Overwatch 2 clip of an unlucky Reaper player, demonstrates that while bad luck can be frustrating while playing, for spectators it is often hilarious.
