Overwatch 2 Confirms Next PvP Beta Date, and This Time It Will Be on Consoles
Last month, Blizzard hosted the first-ever Overwatch 2 PvP beta, letting fans of the hero shooter try its new 5v5 setup for the first time. However, the first Overwatch 2 PvP beta was restricted to PC gamers, meaning console players were left out of the action. That will change with the next Overwatch PvP beta, which now has an official start date, console support, and much more.
Blizzard has announced that the next Overwatch 2 PvP beta will take place on Tuesday, June 28. This won't be an open beta, so anyone interested in participating will have to sign up. Blizzard has confirmed that sign-ups will be available starting this coming Thursday, June 16, which is the same day as the Overwatch 2 reveal event. Those on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox will all get to play, though it seems Switch gamers are being left out, unfortunately.

Full details on what the next Overwatch 2 PvP beta will entail have not been announced just yet, but more details will come during the Overwatch 2 reveal event on June 16. Not only that, but Overwatch 2 fans will also be able to duke it out on a brand-new map that will presumably be revealed on June 16.
The Overwatch 2 reveal event starts at 10am PT on June 16, and it's then when fans will learn a lot more about the next beta. It could also be home to other announcements and reveals as well.
