Right from the Oppo Reno 7 series, Oppo F21 Pro, and now the latest addition- the Oppo Reno 8 series, the company has made several changes to the design of the smartphones. With a minimal and classy look, the Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G is all set to grab eyeballs. Of course, for what Oppo is known for, the Reno 8 Pro 5G also promises to offer great camera performance. Well, cannot disclose much, but here's my first impressions of this sleek and beautiful-looking feature-rich smartphone.
Starting with the basic details, the Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G is priced at Rs. 45,999 and is available only in one storage variant- 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Also, the company is offering two elegant color options to choose from- Glazed Green and Glazed Black. After spending a few days with the phone in Glazed Green color, here are my first impression of the Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G:
Being a mid-range segment phone, the design of Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G is something you are getting at par. Holding the smartphone in your hand gives you a premium feel. The phone gets a glass back cover eliminating the need for a standalone camera bump, with a smooth transition being created to house the camera on the back cover instead. The Reno 8 Pro is light (183 g) and thin (7.34 mm) and gets a boxy look thus making it very comfortable to hold and use. However, the back panel does attract smudges and finger impressions. The cameras are paired with the Ring Flash on the rear which enhances the beauty of the phone.
