Fans of One Piece are still reeling from the official announcement that the best-selling manga in history will soon enter its final saga. This epic «beginning of the end» moment is being celebrated with the release of an official poster that celebrates One Piece's history and legacy.
The last few weeks have been really important for One Piece. First, the Wano Arc, the storyline that has developed over the last four years in the manga, came to its momentous conclusion. After a long and gruesome war, Luffy and his allies were able to defeat two Yonko, Kaido and Big Mom. This was a huge step in the story, as Luffy and the Straw Hat have reached the pinnacle of the pirate world and are now free to move forward with the last part of their journey. To confirm that, the announcement came from creator Eiichiro Oda that, after chapter 1053, One Piece would take a month-long hiatus to prepare for what will be the final saga in his 25 years-long (and counting) masterpiece.

This is not the first time Oda takes a break. Actually, he is the only mangaka currently publishing on Shonen Jump who has a «special license» to take small, one-week breaks when he needs them.
