Popular and highly reviewed co-op title It Takes Two is coming to the Nintendo Switch. It Takes Two is an action-adventure platforming title that sees two parents trapped inside the bodies of dolls made by their daughter. Created by Hazelight Studios, a developer previously known for its other co-op title A Way Out, It Takes Two only allows for two-player engagement, and doesn't let a gamer take on the task of patching up Cody and May's relationship solo.
It Takes Two initially released on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PS5 back in March last year. Now, it is on its way to the Nintendo Switch. Considering the Switch's ability to easily allow two-player engagement through its Joy-Cons, the hybrid console is certainly well-suited to co-op play, and many fans were requesting the game to come to Nintendo hardware shortly following its release. It was already expected that It Takes Two's Switch port could be announced at the Direct on September 13, but now that has been fully confirmed.
It Takes Two Adaptation In The Works At Amazon Prime
At the Nintendo Direct, one of the first trailers shown was the tease for It Takes Two's Switch port, which launches on November 4 with pre-orders available from today. Some gameplay footage was shown, along with a reminder that It Takes Two must be played with two people, before the trailer informs fans of how the game plays differently on the Switch. While It Takes Two can be played on one system, meaning two people won't have to buy the game, it can also be tackled with two separate Switches, either through local play or online.
A Nintendo Switch Online subscription won't necessarily be required to play It Takes Two with a friend online either, as players can access the title online
