Falcom's Legend of Heroes Trails series is vast and spanned several platforms and generations. Until now, fans only had access to the Trails in The Sky trilogy and thefirst four games in the Trails of Cold Steel series. Twelve years after its release in Japan, fans finally get their hands on Trails from Zero, aka the Crossbell Arc. It's a story that bridges the gap between Trails in the Sky and Trails of Cold Steel.

As with its related titles, Trails from Zero is a complex game with lots of quirks and details that one will need to familiarize themselves with to find and earn everything in the game. They are throwbacks to JRPGs that encourage players to converse with every NPC and interact with everything. This detail is more important than ever because seemingly mundane tasks can earn the party Detective Points, which offer valuable rewards through the game's story.
Detective Points in Trails from Zero are earned by completing quests and contribute to increasing the protagonist's Detective class as the story progresses. Each class increase will mean that Lloyd will gain a new reward. DP is earned by fulfilling certain conditions in battle and completing side quests given by NPCs found in Crossbell.
Trails from Zero is available now for the PC, PS4, and Switch.
