PlayStation Stars is available now in North America with new quests, and users who pre-order Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and/or God of War Ragnarok may earn rewards for the loyalty program. According to Sony, PlayStation Stars users subscribed to PlayStation Plus may earn even more rewards through special campaigns.
The PlayStation Stars loyalty program is free to join for all PSN users, and PlayStation Plus members have access to additional reward opportunities. PlayStation Stars users may complete quests, campaigns, and activities to earn rewards and points. Points earned in PlayStation Stars may be used to redeem digital collectibles and PlayStation Store credit. Currently, PlayStation Stars is available to join now in Japan, Asia, North America, and South America. Players in Europe and Australia may join PlayStation Stars starting October 13.

Starting today, PlayStation Plus members will receive PlayStation Stars points for digital Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and God of War Ragnarok pre-orders. Sony sent out a notification through PlayStation Network to inform users that all existing pre-orders for the two upcoming games are eligible for PlayStation Stars points. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and God of War Ragnarok pre-orders made after October 5 are still eligible as well. Users should be able to earn PlayStation Stars points from these pre-orders leading into launch day.
