No More Heroes 3 will no longer be a Nintendo Switch exclusive in 2022, as XSEED Games has announced that it's coming to PC, PlayStation, and Xbox systems. This isn't the first time that Travis Touchdown has only been a temporary guest on Nintendo Switch, as the well-reviewed spinoff Travis Strikes Again went multiplatform in 2019, after launching on Nintendo Switch.
The story of No More Heroes 3 involves a new foe for Travis Touchdown to face in battle. This time, the gimmick assassins have been replaced with invading aliens, with the incredibly powerful Jess-Baptiste VI as their leader. Baptiste creates the Galactic Rankings and welcomes challengers from all over Earth to take on his crew. Travis must come out of retirement and carve his way through the alien invaders in order to save the world. No More Heroes 3 launched on the Nintendo Switch in August 2021 and was one of the big exclusives on the system for that year.

Upon its initial launch, No More Heroes 3 had positive reviews, but one common complaint was the technical issues, as the game had muddy visuals, a low frame rate, and a city that was sparsely populated. The city of Santa Destroy will soon have a chance to flourish on a stronger system, as XSEED Games has announced on Twitter that No More Heroes 3 is coming to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S in the fall. If No More Heroes 3 had a one-year exclusivity deal, then that will expire at the end of August 2022, which is a potential release window for the game. There is a special edition of the game that will come with a soundtrack CD and a Santa Destroy license plate.
