So, Peglin, the Pachinko Roguelike has finally hit 1.0 on Android, iOS and PC. Yeah, ‘finally!’ After being on early access for more than a year, the full version of the game has been released. And it’s quite an exciting drop (if you’ve played the early access version, you’d know!).
Published and developed by Red Nexus Games, Peglin has turn-based gameplay. It blends Pachinko mechanics with rogue-like elements. It’ll actually also remind you of Peggle and Slay the Spire.
There are four different goblin classes to explore: Peglin, Balladin, Roundrel, and Spinventor. But you start off as the small green goblin, Peglin, the starter class. You get to unlock the other three as you progress in the game.
As Peglin, you’ve had enough of dragons stealing all your gold. So, you decide to take revenge along with other goblins. Rendered in charming pixel-art style, you use orbs to blast your way through levels filled with bouncing pegs.
Catch a glimpse of Peglin below before we dive into what’s in store in 1.0!
A lot! Peglin 1.0 has added the final Cruciball level, so 17 to 20 are now live. Minibosses hit harder, regular battles can now have extra enemies and the bosses now have nasty surprises. There’s a new forest miniboss called Slime Hive that summons a bunch of Slimedrops.
The update also throws in a new rare relic, the Crystal Catalyst, which boosts Spinfection damage. There’s also a bunch of balance changes and quality-of-life updates. For instance, there’s a reshuffling peg board when you face Thesaurosus, so you don’t get stuck with a terrible layout for the whole fight.
So, Peglin 1.0, the full version is here. So, go ahead and give it a try. It lets you battle through forests, fortresses, dragon’s lair and more! Check it out on the Google Play Store.
