The Nintendo Switch is still selling quite well for Nintendo. Thanks to the sales figures, there might not be as much incentive to bring out a successor. Still, that hasn’t stopped publications from reaching out to Nintendo in hopes of learning anything they possibly can about their next console platform release. Recently, the Associated Press managed to speak with Nintendo of America president Doug Bowser. While most of the conversation was based around the Super Nintendo World theme park, there was a question regarding the successor of the Nintendo Switch.
Nintendo has yet to unveil anything regarding what’s to come. Instead, there have been more conversations about the longevity of the Nintendo Switch platform. That is the same point Doug Bowser was making when he was recently asked what’s to come next. The Nintendo of America president commented that they still have a solid lineup coming, and the Nintendo Switch sales are still strong. Similar to what the Nintendo President said, Shuntaro Furukawa, the Nintendo company is in uncharted territory, with the platform still proving to be a strong gaming platform for players.
As we enter the seventh year for the Nintendo Switch, sales are still strong. I think we still have a very very strong lineup coming. As Mr. Furukawa (Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa) said recently, we’re entering uncharted territory with the platform. It’s exciting to see that demand is still there. So nothing to announce on any future console or device, but we are still feeling very bullish about Nintendo Switch.
I should be careful about what I personally would like to see (in a new Switch). But what I can share is that one of the reasons that even going into year seven we feel very confident
