Although the name suggests one room, the Confinement Room of Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors actually consists of several rooms that you can freely explore. Fortunately, we are here to help you navigate the rooms in this area.

In this guide, we will be looking at how to successfully escape the Confinement Room. With this guide, you will have no problem navigating the rooms in the Confinement area. Similar to our other 999 guides, you will find no plot spoilers here. Let's first take a look at the layout of the Confinement Room.
When you enter the Confinement Room, you will be in a long hallway.
To the left side of the hallway, you can find three 'bedrooms', which contain a dirty bed and some desk furniture, as well as a sink and toilet. All three of these rooms have the same general layout.
On the other side of the hallway, you will find just one door that is locked.
Now, it's time to make your escape. To kick things off, head through the first door along the wall.
Once inside, look at the toilet area of the room. Upon inspection of the toilet paper holder, you notice that the holder is made out of a removable metal rod. Grab this and then face the toilet.
While looking at the toilet, interact with the handle and add it to your inventory as well. Combine this handle with the metal rod to get the full screwdriver.
Now that you have this new tool, you can use it to unlock the desk drawer in the same room. Rather than grabbing something from the drawer, you will just grab the entire drawer and add it to your inventory.
