After months of waiting, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is finally getting voices. The game launched last October with a solid brawler foundation, but it lacked any form of voice acting for its 22 characters. With today’s update, however, players will be able to hear their favorite Nickelodeon characters grunt in pain or shout in victory.
The official All-Star Brawl Twitter account confirmed that most of the characters’ voice actors will reprise their roles from their respective shows Jim Cummings pulls double duty as the voice of Shredder and Cat (of CatDog fame), while Tom Kenny plays both Dog and SpongeBob. It looks like Avatar characters Aang and Toph have been recast, but that's likely because the original voice actors were children and could no longer fulfill the roles. Vivian Vencer takes over for Toph while Aang is played by Dustin Sardella.

Townsend Colemen and Cam Clarke will once again play Michelangelo and Leonardo of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles just as they did in the late '80s (and will again in the upcoming retro beat-'em-up, Shredder's Revenge). April O'Neil, however, is now played by prolific voice actress Abby Trott.
The latest update also comes with quite a few changes to Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl's core gameplay. The default stock count has gone up from three to four, and air dashing now has a two-frame warmup window. Player indicators will also be hidden if the character goes invisible, which makes certain characters much more viable.
