New World July Team Update
Greetings, Adventurers!
Join the New World team for our July Team Update video, where we discuss the development of the Summer Medleyfaire, new mechanics in the Barnacles & Black Powder Expedition, upcoming community events like TwitchCon Amsterdam, and weapon balance changes.

Mike Willette and Phil Bolus join hosts Scot Lane and Tina Degenhart for a deep dive into the Summer Medleyfaire event. Gather a band of Adventurers to play a rhythm minigame or throw tips at the best bands on the island. You can even complete quests from the Maestro for awesome rewards.
There are also fishing festivities. Exchange the Aeternum Sturgeon for Summer Medleyfaire items and use Mount-A-Catch stations to decorate your house with your favorite catches. How will you celebrate the Summer Medleyfaire?
Delve into pirate territory deep with Mike Willette for more on the Barnacles & Black Powder Expedition. Looking for Adventurers to join your group? The new Expedition Group Finder allows you to quickly match with players based on preferences like role and Gear Score.
Our Community Team will be at TwitchCon Amsterdam on July 16 — 17. Hang out, ask questions, or join the New World PvP Arena Open. First place will win a trip to TwitchCon San Diego. Greg Henninger, Brittaney Chang, and Katy Kaszynski discuss the event, then tease an upcoming PTR event for players to interact with our Community Team in-game.
There will also be a double XP Fishing and Instrument event to make every Summer Medleyfaire activity feel even more satisfying.
