The sequel to Tales From the Borderlands that was announced by Gearbox earlier this year seemingly now has a release, launching for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and presumably PC on October 21.
First spotted by Wario64 on Twitter, online retailer Amazon has listed physical copies of "New Tales From the Borderlands" for all of the previously mentioned platforms apart from PC (thanks, PushSquare). The release dates attached to these listings strongly suggest that the game will launch on October 21 later this year, although nothing has been confirmed by Gearbox just yet. The listing even includes a pretty in-depth plot synopsis.

"Take a stand against ruthless corporate overlords in this narrative-driven adventure," reads the listing's description. "Within the perpetually war-torn metropolis of Promethea, you'll control Anu, Octavio, and Fran on the worst day of their lives. Help these three lovable losers as they endeavor to change the world (and maybe even save it)! Face down a planetary invasion, vicious vault monster, and cold-hearted capitalist in this cinematic thrill ride where what happens next is up to you!"
