Specifically, this would let players get a look at the inner workings of the game ahead of the eventual 2023 release date of Skull and Bones, if Ubisoft's current predictions pan out accordingly.
The primary conceit for this new program, however, is less about giving fans a demo of Skull and Bones, and instead focuses on making sure that player suggestions direct the game towards success at launch. So, any fan looking to play early builds and give constructive feedback is being encouraged to sign up for a chance to jump into this upcoming Insider Program.

This new Insider Program will allow players to play early builds of Skull and Bones and give feedback directly to Ubisoft about the direction that development is currently taking. In addition to the direct feedback, Ubisoft is also looking to collect data from these test players in order to see what clicks best with fans as they continue to dive into the activities that rise to the top as most popular. Considering that Ubisoft is happy with Skull and Bones' development, this could be a sign that the game might not be ready for release, but is still in a playable and enjoyable state.
