The Image Comics Massive-verse, which kicked off with the fan-favorite and genre-stretching hero Radiant Black, just got more interesting with the announcement of the new title The Dead Lucky. Debuting in August, this new comic title by Melissa Flores and French Carlomagno centers around a hero with amazing powers navigating the joys and sorrows of life as a young adult in the big city.
The Massive-verse is Image Comic's in-house organic superhero multiverse. Introduced with Radiant Black #1 by Kyle Higgins and Marcelo Costa, it is a world that combines the best of American superhero storytelling and comic action with traditional Japanese tokusatsu and sentai hero themes, all with a contemporary Millennial vibe. In addition to Radiant Black, other titles in the Massive-verse have included Supermassive, Rogue Sun and Radiant Red.
