The PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games for October 2022 are available in a few days and their file sizes have just been revealed. PS Plus Extra and Premium members get a handful of games every month from a variety of genres. Unlike the free monthly games, subscribers lose access to these titles once they leave the service.
Sony is adding 23 games to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium in October 2022. This includes several games from both the Assassin’s Creed and the Dragon Quest franchises, along with some indie titles like Inside and Hohokum. PS Plus Premium members can download the remasters of three Yakuza games this month, in addition to titles like Limbo and Ultra Street Fighter 4. Fans now have an idea of the storage requirements for all of these games ahead of their release on PS Plus.

PlayStation Game Size has revealed the file sizes of the 21 downloadable games, as Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and Everyday Shooter are only available via online streaming. It confirms that Grand Theft Auto: Vice City — The Definitive Edition will require 11.976 GB on PS5 as compared to 11.006 GB for its PS4 counterpart, while The Medium will need 26.376 GB of space. The critically acclaimed Inside comes in at just 3.459 GB.
Assassin's Creed Odyssey is the biggest game this month in terms of size requirements, as it needs 82.030 GB of space. By comparison, Assassin's Creed 3 Remastered requires 63.238 GB and Assassin's Creed Syndicate needs 43.674 GB of storage. The three games in the Assassin's Creed Chronicles series will take up just 3.144 GB, 5.041 GB, and 3.613 GB for China, Russia, and India respectively.
