It’s been over three months since Pokemon Scarlet and Violet were first shown to the world, and while not too much was given away, the reveal of the new starters definitely drew Pokemon fans in. Fuecoco, Sprigatito, and Quaxly all garnered tons of attention on social media, with fan art of them emerging soon thereafter.
Of course, fan art, rumors, and speculation will only get fans so far. Many have been dying to hear more official news on Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, with many expecting to do so in June. After all, several events are scheduled for June like Sony’s State of Play, the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase, and Summer Game Fest. Now, fans know specifically when they’ll learn more, and it’s very soon.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: Iberian Peninsula Animals That Should Inspire New Pokemon
The official Pokemon Twitter account has announced that a new Pokemon Scarlet and Violet trailer will be revealed tomorrow. The trailer drops at 6 am PT/8 am CT, with the account urging fans to make sure they’re subscribed to the channel and have notifications on. Unfortunately, there’s not much outlined as to what to expect.
However, given this will only be its second trailer, it’s probably best to temper expectations. Starter evolutions and a release date for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are not impossible, but since those are some of the hottest topics, it would make sense if Game Freak and Nintendo held back that info a little while longer. Instead, it’s more likely to be similar to the first one, showing off the region, perhaps some battles, Pokemon in the game, and more than likely, at least some new Pokemon coming to Scarlet and Violet.
That’s the most exciting part, of course, as every new region introduces a ton of new Pokemon.
