July is almost here, which means a whole new slate of shows and movies to watch on Amazon Prime Video. Some of the content is available starting on July 1, while other shows and movies will be available a little later next month.
Towards the end of the month, the live-action series adapting the popular comic Paper Girls will be debuting July 29 on Amazon Prime Video. The show is based on the Brian K. Vaughan-written mystery and sci-fi comic book series about four newspaper delivery girls who find themselves caught up in a conflict between warring factions of time travelers while out making deliveries on the morning after Halloween in 1988. The comic ran from 2015 to 2019.
Much earlier, on July 1, The Terminal List--a series starring Chris Pratt (Jurassic World: Dominion, Nintendo's Mario movie)--comes to the streaming service. All eight episodes will drop at the beginning of the month, and the show is an adaptation of the best-selling novel of the same name by author Jack Carr. A synopsis for The Terminal List is as follows: «The Terminal List follows James Reece (Pratt) after his entire platoon of Navy SEALs is ambushed during a high-stakes covert mission. Reece returns home to his family with conflicting memories of the event and questions about his culpability. However, as new evidence comes to light, Reece discovers dark forces working against him, endangering not only his life but the lives of those he loves.»
