God of War's PC port has seen massive success since its launch, with both sales and player numbers going through the roof. After God of War's incredible performance on consoles, a solid PC launch was expected, but the PC launch was near-perfect, marking a rare smooth transition from console to PC that developers can sometimes struggle with.
Along with its marked commercial success, God of War PC port reviews are in, and many of them are glowing and congratulatory. However, the game is not entirely without flaw, as some users have been experiencing issues dealing with UI and UX elements.

Luckily, these issues tend to be small, and have nothing to do with pushing God of War's 4K graphics to their limit. Instead, the issues have more to do with quality of life and smaller settings issues. However, though the problems are small, they can be annoying for players to work around, which is why the game has received a patch addressing them.
This patch comes shortly after a God of War update that fixed Atreus issues, among other changes. The Atreus patch also added a DLSS slider, allowing players to push the graphics even further. However, that caused problems with render scaling. Fortunately, this has been fixed in the latest patch. Another fix changes the game window so that it interacts with task bars correctly. Some players reported the game's audio playing when tabbed out, and that has also been fixed. Lastly, the HDR and SDR brightness levels and settings will no longer affect one another, allowing players to more specifically customize their preferences.
