Latest GTA Online Update Gets Players a Free Car

Rockstar Games' latest update for Grand Theft AutoOnline gives players the opportunity to upgrade vehicles with Imani Tech, purchase in-game items at considerable discounts, earn triple GTA$ and RP, and claim a free Weeny Issi until February 23.

Players who opened a Celebrity Solutions Agency in GTA Online but haven't equipped it with a Vehicle Workshop can take advantage of the 30% discount on workshops. Doing so gives players access to Imani Tech upgrades like the Remote Control Unit, Out of Sight service, and the Missile Lock-On Jammer. The upgrades are 25% off for the next week (keep that February 23 date in mind for most of the goodies) and can be applied to some of the best vehicles released as part of the GTA Online Contract expansion.

According to Rockstar many of the upgrades like the Imani Tech were actually inspired by players who submitted them through the GTA Online Feedback site.

In a game that provides some 700 different cars, players who feel like jumping into the teeny Weeny Issi Classic to make hairpin turns and squeeze through narrow alleys to evade LSPD cop cars will earn triple GTA$ and RP. Fans of the Mini-Cooper-inspired tiny car can grab one for free from Southern San Andreas Super Autos (again only through February 23).

Race fans will get the opportunity to receive reward bonuses, and possibly another free car. All Open Wheel Races earn triple rewards, and racing against the clock in the Time Trial End to End will net double GTA$ and RP. Additionally, finishing in the top three spots in any Pursuit Race five days in a row will put a Truffade Nero in a player's garage.
