Fallout 76 is celebrating 15 million players with a brand new expedition - and it's kinda giving us New Vegas vibes. At least in its aesthetic anyway, as the next expansion will take us to Atlantic City, complete with a bunch of casinos and 1940s America cosplay.
Not too many details were shared about the expedition, with most of the Fallout 76 portion of the Xbox Games Showcase focussing on this huge playerbase milestone. But we did get a good look at Atlantic City's visuals, and it's looking quite different to what we've seen in the game so far.

The Atlantic City update is listed as "coming soon", so it's not clear when it will actually be available to players. But judging from the footage so far, development is going well, so we'll have to keep an ear out for any further updates.
This is quite the turnaround for Fallout 76, as I don't think many of us would have expected to see the MMO still up and running almost five years on. After such a disastrous launch, with almost every aspect of the release going wrong, many companies would have thrown in the towel. But Bethesda persisted, delivering updates that have slowly shifted the perception of the game - even if many of us would rather the studio spent more time on Fallout 5. Or, at the very least, let another developer take the reigns once again. C'mon guys, Obsidian is right there! You're both owned by Microsoft and everything!
