Netflix's Pieces of Her adaptation reveals first-look photos and a release date. Based on Karin Slaughter's New York Times bestselling novel, Pieces of Her follows the path of Laura and Andy Oliver, a mother and daughter who are jolted by a violent incident that sets off a chain of events that will take Andy across America to uncover a decades-old secret. The series adaptation comes from showrunner Charlotte Stoudt and is directed by Minkie Spiro (The Plot Against America).
Pieces of Her stars Toni Collette (as Laura), Bella Heathcote (as Andy), Jessica Barden, Jacob Scipio, Joe Dempsie, Aaron Jeffery, Omari Hardwick, Gil Birmingham, David Wenham, Calum Worthy, Nicholas Burton, and Terry O’Quinn. Collette is best known for her work on Showtime's United States of Tara, as well as multiple features, including Ari Aster's Hereditary. Heathcote is best known for her appearances in The Man in the High Castle and Bloom TV series, as well as Strange Angel. Hardwick is just coming off of Zack Snyder's Army of the Dead, while Birmingham is currently starring in Yellowstone on Paramount+, and O'Quinn was recently on FBI: Most Wanted, but is best known as John Locke on the hit series Lost.

Today, Netflix has released a series of images from the upcoming adaptation of Pieces of Her, showing off the massive cast. The images showcase Collette and Heathcote as the mother-daughter duo in a series of heartwarming and dire moments, as well as some of the supporting cast, including Birmingham and Hardwick. In addition to the new images, the release date for the 8-episode series was revealed as March 4th, 2022. Check out the images below:
