It appears that Need for Speed Unbound has leaked ahead of schedule as a Japanese retailer has an online page showing off screenshots from the new entry in the famous racing series, as well as a release date. It looks like Need for Speed Unbound will launch on December 2, which is in line with an earlier leak that indicated the same date.
The new Need for Speed is set to be officially unveiled by EA tomorrow at 8am PT / 11am ET / 4pm BST in what is said to be a 90-second trailer. However, today's leak comes from Japanese retailer Neowing and shows some further screenshots from the game (via Gematsu). It also only lists Need for Speed Unbound as a PS5 game. Earlier leaks suggested the game will be current-gen only and for PC.

The screenshots show off the game's anime-inspired visual design, featuring the stylized art style associated with the Japanese- originated aesthetic, while the brash, colourful presentation are in keeping with the modern Need for Speed style.
This might be one of the leakiest Need for Speed reveals ever, but fans should look forward to the official announcement tomorrow to finally see the game in motion. For now, these screens give a better idea of how the game will look, although the anime art style was previously known.
Need for Speed Unbound looks likely to launch on current-gen systems and PC on December 2. While it may not yet be official, all the signs point that way, we'll just await EA's proper unveiling tomorrow to fully confirm it all.
