A recent job posting appears to suggest that Naughty Dog may be working on another post-apocalyptic game like theLast of Us, or that it requires additional personnel to continue development of their upcoming multiplayer game. With over 300 Game of the Year awards for theLast of Us Part 2, it’s no surprise that the AAA studio would want to continue that trend. While the job posting doesn’t confirm another the Last of Us title, it does suggest that Naughty Dog is looking for an artist with the skills to craft in-game assets for an AAA title.

The Last of Us series has been praised for its gameplay and gritty post apocalyptic atmosphere. The recent success of Resident Evil remakes suggests that audiences are still hungry for post-apocalyptic style games.

Naughty Dog also specifies that the designer must understand the game pipeline, and be familiar with the entire creative process that revolves around game development. While the new artist may be working on something entirely new, they could also be contributing to Naughty Dog's upcoming the Last of Us multiplayer game.
