All of this however, did not add up to a game-changer phone. Now, hopes are resting on the iPhone 15 lineup to deliver something special. This year we got something exciting in the form of the Dynamic Island. On a good note, several leaks suggest that both the next year's standard and Plus models will get the same feature. Next year, the non-Pro models will get the A16 Bionic chipset. Again, the differentiation between the iPhone 14 standard model and the premium models will be set as Apple will only pack the A17 Bionic chipset into the top-end Pro models. The big news here is that this chip will make the iPhone the fastest smartphone in the world unless rivals come up with a miracle chip, which at the moment looks unlikely. It will likely be 10 pct faster and also help in reducing power consumption even as it does more work.
