Warning: Contains a preview for Eternals #10
In a preview for the upcoming issue of Eternals #10, Namor the Submariner has a romantic date (involving a pool filled with Atlantean «stimulating» waters) with one of the most powerful Avengers in history: the Eternal Sersi.
Sersi is a member of the Eternals and has always had a lust for adventure and for experiencing the human world, which she has traveled extensively over the ages. As with many Eternals, her actions often became the inspiration for mythology, such as when she posed as the sorceress Circe and met the legendary Odysseus. In modern times, Sersi relocated to Manhattan where she would regularly hold parties with the rich and famous of the city. In New York, she became involved with the superhero community and she ended up joining the Avengers to replace her fellow Eternal Gilgamesh. Sersi's time with the Earth's Mightiest Heroes was a troubled one. She started suffering from the Mahd Wy'ry, a mental breakdown caused by the Eternals' long lifespans, and to cure it she was soul-bonded with her lover, the Black Knight. However, a version of Dane Whitman from a parallel Earth who was chasing down and killing versions of Sersi across the multiverse appeared after having been rejected by his own. This led to a big crisis and to Sersi's departure from the team, and her ultimate separation from Dane.
