The character is iconic enough that it has made guest appearances in other video games such as Fortnite and Mortal Kombat 11. There's also Teyon's Terminator: Resistance, which was a first-person shooter made with beloved reverence to the source material published by Reef Entertainment. Another studio, Nacon, is creating a game for this long-running sci-fi franchise, as revealed in a recent livestream from the developer.
Nacon's Connect event revealed a number of games in development from the studio, including RoboCop: Rogue City, a first-person shooter also developed by Teyon based on fellow 80s action movie franchise RoboCop. The event also revealed the studio's working on a game set in the Terminator franchise, which will feature an original story that builds on the events of the film franchise.

This teaser trailer has a desolate and apocalyptic tone, with Nacon confirming that the game will be set during the aftermath of Judgment Day and also takes place before the formation of John Connor's resistance. The game will also feature an open world with survival elements, the Terminator franchise's first, no less. The player will be playing as a group of survivors from the nuclear apocalypse who are fighting to stay alive.
