The Race to World First returns to progression mode as splits have largely been taken care of for this reset, at least among the two frontrunner guilds of Liquid and Echo. Anduin Wrynn, who was widely expected before the raid came out to be one of the two most impactful and potentially difficult encounters, has so far lived up to the hype! Progress is slow, with Liquid approaching 200 pulls and as of yet still not seeing sub 50% on the encounter, but like Halondrus a lot of credit is owed to the encounter designers for hitting a difficulty level that challenges these incredible raiders without feeling straight up impossible.
Anduin has taken a small hit of nerfs, mostly targetingtargetting the intermission phase, some of which Wowhead has datamined and some of which appears to be server-side only, adding a few seconds to the timer in that phase and reducing some add HP in the Kingsmourne Hungers phases. The prospect of a third reset race is now firmly in view, with raiders now preparing for the impact of Double Legendaries on their own characters as well as on the optimal compositions for these brutally difficult encounters.
