Nintendo this week launched a new online shopping destination for fans in the US and Canada.
Visit Nintendo.com and click the "My Nintendo Store" tab at the top to find physical and digital games, hardware, merchandise, store exclusives, sales, and more.
Marketed by Nintendo as "a great place to easily browse a wide assortment of Nintendo products," the digital shop features console accessories as well as exclusives like T-shirts, mugs, keychains, and even pillows. Browse by title or character—Super Mario, Kirby, Animal Crossing, The Legend of Zelda, Pokémon, Splatoon, Metroid; find co-op games and gear to play with friends; or snap up the latest deals (currently a Gold Points Special Offer that ends on Feb. 28). Plus, get free standard shipping on orders of $50 and more.
Members of the free My Nintendo rewards program automatically earn 5% in My Nintendo Gold Points on future eligible digital purchases—downloadable directly to your Switch system. A Nintendo Account is required to receive and redeem My Nintendo points.
The shop opening comes just as the game maker revealed plans to stop selling Wii U and 3DS titles through the eShop. "While we hope that you will continue to enjoy using these systems, we have taken this opportunity to prepare a website where you can look back on your time with them via various play statistics," according to a Nintendo Customer Support announcement.
