As the beloved superhero manga series, My Hero Academia, continues to ride its wave of international popularity, a new collection will make it easier than ever for new readers to jump on board. With the manga and anime adaptation continuing to draw in fans across the globe, Viz Media is releasing a brand-new box set of the first few volumes. For the first time, readers will be able to own the first 20 volumes in one oversized collection.
My Hero Academia comes from mangaka Kōhei Horikoshi who writes and illustrates the series. Set in a world where most people are naturally born with powers, or «Quirks», the manga largely centers around the Quirkless Izuku «Deku» Midoriya. Though born without a special ability, Deku gets the chance of a lifetime when the No. 1 hero in the world, All Might, chooses to pass on his power onto him. With his newfound strength, Deku attends a new school for up-and-coming heroes and sets on a journey to become a great hero. With the My Hero Academia manga and anime series still going strong, new fans are being made every day.
