When fans last saw Deku and the gang inMy Hero Academia, the Paranormal Liberation Front was beginning to make a great deal of momentum as the original Destro supporters merged with the League of Villains to create an organized crime conglomeration.
Their new leader, Tomura Shigaraki was in the process of making some personal developments of his own, adding more potency to his punches with the help of Daruma Ujiko (aka Garaki Kyūdai) and a four-month timer on the clock. Thankfully, Hawks' cloak-and-dagger operation managed to leak valuable information to the Heroes, and the storyline of Season 6 kicks off shortly after Shigaraki's acquisition of the Meta Liberation Army.
