MultiVersus Season 1 patch: Bugs, Finn and Velma nerfed, Arya and LeBron buffed
The full patch notes for Season 1 of MultiVersus have been released.
Season 1 is due to roll out later today, and developer First Player Games has provided the full list of changes being made to each character, as well as the game itself.
The most notable tweaks are nerfs being given to Bugs Bunny, Velma and Finn, three characters generally believed to be among the best in the game.
Meanwhile, Arya Stark, LeBron James and Wonder Woman, three characters said to be somewhat weaker, have been given buffs.
The new patch will also change the free character rotation, giving players access to four different characters without having to unlock them.
Before the patch, the free characters were Superman, Garnet, Reindog and Finn.
When the Season 1 patch rolls out, the new free characters will be Arya Stark, Batman, LeBron James and Steven Universe.

Arya
The goal of these changes was to make Arya’s combos be more consistent and successful at lower skill levels.
Batman
Bugs Bunny
Bugs Bunny is a bit too safe in everything he does. We’ve given him some additional whiff punish windows to help address this.
Finn
Fighting against Finn felt too difficult as Finn felt a bit too safe and could throw out attacks without much fear of a punish due to how quickly he recovered. Hurt/Hit box foundational updates are coming soon, but will not be in this patch.

Shaggy’s Side Special felt a little too unpunishable, so we’ve added a bit of Whiff Recovery.
