MultiVersus Open Beta Dates, Iron Giant & Tasmanian Devil Revealed
Warner Bros.'s upcoming MultiVersus brawler is opening its closed beta soon and will also feature the Iron Giant and Tasmanian Devil as fighters, per a recent statement. The Super Smash Bros.-inspired fighting game has been the subject of numerous leaks over the past few months relating to its robust and varied roster of playable characters and gameplay mechanics. There has even been leaked footage of MultiVersus matches, showing how popular characters like Harley Quinn and Batman might fight once the game is released.
MultiVersus will be following Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl in the tradition of modern Smash-inspired fighting games. Warner Bros. owns the rights to numerous iconic characters from Cartoon Network, HBO, and more, meaning that characters from franchises on those platforms could be available to MultiVersus. Characters confirmed to be arriving in the game include Arya Stark from Game of Thrones, Finn and Jake from Adventure Time, and Tom & Jerry. Multiple popular DC characters, such as Wonder Woman, Batman, and Superman, have also been confirmed.
