MultiVersus game director Tony Huynh has responded to fan requests to see Master Chief from the Halo franchise added to the crossover fighting game. MultiVersus is a Super Smash Bros.-style fighting game that features a diverse roster of playable characters. The characters are primarily pulled from franchises that are owned by Warner Bros. or its affiliated companies, ranging from DC Comics' Batman to Scooby-Doo's Shaggy Rogers.
Since launch, MultiVersus has added three additional characters to its roster in the form of Gizmo from Gremlins and Rick and Morty from the adult animated series of the same name. As of the time of this writing, there are two more characters confirmed to be coming to MultiVersus in Season 1: Black Adam from DC Comics and Stripe from Gremlins. Future seasons of MultiVersus will undoubtedly add even more characters to the roster, but it's anyone's guess as to who they will be at this point.

While they wait for official character announcements, MultiVersus fans have been creating their own concepts and move kits for hypothetical character additions. Twitter user Nosy Boy created one such concept for Halo's Master Chief, providing a video to describe how they would incorporate the character into the game. The video caught the attention of MultiVersus game director Tony Huynh, who responded by saying, «Thanks for this. No promises.» This seems to suggest that the team would consider Master Chief if the opportunity arose, but there is no guarantee he would ever actually be added to the roster.
