Motorola has launched two new devices- Moto X40 and Moto G53 5G in China. Both the smartphones are expected to launch in India too, however, the date of the same is not yet known. The Moto X40 is said to be a successor to the Moto X30 and is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, a 165Hz OLED display, a 50MP triple camera setup, among others. Motorola is expected to launch the Moto X40 in India under the name Moto Edge 40. Meanwhile, another handset- Moto G53 5G comes with 50MP primary camera, 5000mAh battery, among others. The base variant of the Moto X40 that is 8GB + 128GB comes with a price tag of RMB 3399 (approx Rs. 40400), while the 8GB + 256GB costs RMB 3699 (around Rs. 44000), the 12GB+256GB storage variant is priced at RMB 3999 (around Rs. 47600), and the 12GB + 512GB variant costs RMB 4299 (approx Rs. 51100).
The phone is available in colour options- Black and Blue. Talking about the specifications and features, the Moto X40 gets a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a curved screen, a 165Hz refresh rate, DC Dimming, and more. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and runs on Android 13.
The handset supports a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary lens, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 12MP telephoto lens. While the front or the selfie camera is of 60MP. The Moto X40 houses a 4600mAh battery with 125W fast wired and 15W wireless charging support. Notably, one another variant of the phone is available too with a 5,000mAh battery and 68W charging.
The 4GB+128GB storage variant of the Moto G53 is priced at RMB 899 (around Rs. 10700), while the 8GB+128GB storage variant costs RMB 1099 (approx Rs. 13100).
