On Monday, December 19, Samsung launched two new smartphones — the Samsung Galaxy A04 and the Samsung Galaxy A04e — in India. The two new Galaxy smartphones are part of the company's affordable line of devices. The Samsung Galaxy A04 comes in two different variants of 4GB + 64GB which has been priced at Rs. 11,999 and 4GB + 128GB which has been priced at Rs. 12,999. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy A04e comes in three variants of 3GB + 32GB priced at Rs. 9,299; 3GB + 64GB which costs Rs. 9,999 and 4GB + 128GB which has been priced at Rs. 11,499. The smartphones go on sale starting today, December 20.
“Galaxy A04 and Galaxy A04e carry forward the A series legacy with segment-leading features like 8GB memory with RAM Plus, high storage of up to 128GB, a massive 5000mAh battery and Face Recognition to unlock your phone,” Akshay S. Rao, General Manager, Mobile Business, Samsung India, said in a statement.
The Samsung Galaxy A04 features a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display with a 270 ppi density. The smartphone is equipped with MediaTek Helio P35 chipset along with a single RAM variant of 4 GB and two storage variants of 64GB and 128GB. The smartphone sports a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it carries a 5MP selfie camera. The smartphone is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery. It is available in Black, Green, White and Copper color variants.
The Samsung Galaxy A04e features a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 720x1600 pixels. It is equipped with Mediatek Helio P35 chipset along with two RAM variants of 3GB and 4GB and three storage variants of 32GB, 64GB and 128GB.
