Samsung has just announced the Galaxy F04 for India as one of its most affordable smartphone. The Galaxy F04 aims at offering smartphone basics to the common people at a much more affordable price. Samsung has launched the phone at a price of Rs. 9499 but an introductory price of Rs. 7499 has been applied on the device. The Galaxy F04 will go on sale starting from January 12 at Flipkart.
The Galaxy F04 focuses on a stylish design with a glossy pattern design. The phone comes in Jade Purple and Opal Green colours. It is made out of a plastic unibody with a dual rear camera setup. The front has a traditional budget phone design with a waterdrop notch holding the front camera and thick chin.
The Galaxy F04 is based on the MediaTek Helio P35 chipset and is paired with 4GB RAM as standard. The phone runs on One UI based on Android 12, and with the help of software trickery, the phone can expand its RAM up to 8GB. Samsung promises 2 Android upgrades on the Galaxy F04, which means the phone will get support of up to Android 14.
The phone also comes with 64GB of base storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB via the microSD card slot. The display itself comes with a 6.5-inch 720p LPS LCD display with a refresh rate of 60Hz. When it comes to the cameras, the Galaxy F04 has a dual camera setup at the back, consisting of a 13MP main rear camera and a 2MP depth camera sensor. The front camera is a 5MP sensor.
All of this is backed by a 5000mAh capacity battery and Samsung is offering support for 15W wired charging. However, there is no mention of the charger present in the box.
